Mariucci Arena Classic Information

The Mariucci Classic is coming up at the beginging of January and Gopher fans everywhere are getting excited!!

There's nothing better than Gopher hockey!

The Mariucci Classic is an annual men's college ice hockey tournament hosted by the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The tournament is contested by the Minnesota Golden Gophers and three visiting teams. This year the teams include Colgate, Ferris State, Minnesota, and Rensselaer. We have tickets for Friday, January 3rd (games start at 7 pm) and tickets for Saturday, January 4th (games starting at TBD). The Mariucci Classic always brings out the best in teams and we can't wait for this years.

Mariucci Arena Classic, Don't Miss It!

On Friday, December 31st, 2010 and Saturday, January 1st, 2011, Mariucci Arena will host the Mariucci Arena Classic. The four teams involved are Minnesota, Union, Ferris State, and Bemidji State. The Minnesota Gophers will play Union on Friday and Ferris State on Saturday. The Mariucci Arena Classic is a great holiday tournament to kick off the New Year! The Minnesota Gophers will be looking to sweep the 2 games and get ready for their showdown against the North Dakota Fighting Sioux on January 14th and 15th!
