When you go to a game at the Mariucci Arena, there is a rare moment of disappointment. The Mariucci Arena is home to one of the strongest hockey programs in the United States and constantly brings in mass of people upwards of 10k per game! Those numbers bring Mariucci to a ranking of top 5 for college hockey. NCAA hockey is best watched at a venue like this, especially when paired with the best fans around - Golden Gopher fans. The Mariucci Arena is currently ranked No. 8 in the top 10 college sports venues by Sports Illustrated. Very cool. Go GOPHERS!

No place like home at Mariucci

That is so true, I've been to a lot of different NCAA Hockey Arenas but Mariucci Arena is the best by far, Golden Gopher Hockey fans are great!
Is it ranked 8th for all venues (meaning it measured up against football stadiums and basketball arenas?) If so that is awesome!
